Privacy Policy

This is a prototype
This site is a product demo. Everything you see in it — accounts, emails, files and chats — is fictional sample data. The demo does not connect to real accounts, and any changes you make stay in your own browser (local storage). A full privacy policy will be published before Savant launches.
How Savant is designed to handle your data
- Your memory is kept in storage you control — your own cloud account or your device — encrypted with your key.
- Savant doesn't need to permanently store your personal data on its own servers.
- Each AI app only receives what you allow, and you can revoke access at any time.
- Accounts connect through each provider's own sign-in with read-only access, which you can remove from that provider anytime.
- When you delete something, the original and everything made from it (extracted text, search entries, derived data) are removed.
The waitlist
If you join the waitlist, we keep your email address, when you signed up and where on the site you did, only to tell you when Savant opens. It's stored with our database provider, Upstash. To be taken off the list, email us at the address below.
Pitch deck links
When you open a pitch deck link we sent you, we record when it was opened, roughly where from (city and country), the type of device, and how long each slide was on screen. We don't store IP addresses. Your browser also keeps a cookie with the link, so that your visits to this site (below) show up under it.
Visits to this site
To see whether the site and the demo are working, we count visits to the home page, landing page, demo, product preview and these text pages. For each visit we record the time, the pages viewed, roughly where from (city, region and country, from our host Vercel), the type of device and browser, the site you came from, how much of the demo walkthrough played on your screen, and a random visitor ID kept in a first-party cookie, so we can tell new visitors from returning ones. If you opened a pitch deck link we sent you, the visit is shown with that link's name. We don't store IP addresses, use no third-party analytics or advertising cookies, and don't record bots.
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, nothing is recorded. Each page view, how much of the demo a visit watched, and the note of which pitch deck link your browser opened, is deleted automatically 90 days after it was made (and we keep only the latest 5,000 page views); after that only overall counts remain. They're stored with Upstash. The cookies expire after 180 days, and you can delete them in your browser at any time.
